| The 77's Make Their First Move |
| June 6th, 2008 |
The 77's are excited to announce the acquisitions of forwards Mike Wilkinson and Thomas Kingston from the Brock Bucks for a 6th Round Pick in 2009 and Future Considerations. Wilkinson, a native of Barrie, will be entering his third year in the GMHL. This past season, although known for his grit and tenacity, he blossomed into an offensive talent and put up some impressive numbers after his trade from South Muskoka. He will be looked to do the same as a member of the 77's. Kingston, a native of Owen Sound, proved himself in his first season last year as an offensively gifted player with good speed and scoring touch. We are hopeful that he can continue right where he left off last season and can produce as good or better numbers with the 77's. |
